btw, the simplest workaround for you is to keep mouse integration enabled and 3D but instead of using full screen, just maximize the guest window. you won't lose much screen area and you don't have to worry about hot corners. The reason for disabling mouse-integration is that among other things it interferes with Mac's Hot Corners and hot corners of the guest OS.
It also doesn't play nice a hidden dock on Mac and in the guest OS (assuming the guest OS has a dock).

Can you try with the mouse-integration disabled? That's the whole point.
