Thanks for the response. I removed the appliance from Vbox, enabled hardware virtualization from my BIOS, re-imported the appliance (Kali linux) into Vbox and disabled the USB functionality.

Voila! Everything loaded well even with the default video memory of 12mb!

I am having this black screen never goes away problem. I have enabled virtualization in my Bios and increased the video memory from 12mb to 48mb, then to 50mb.

The problem refuses to go away.

Thanks for the reply. The guest network setting is on NAT by default, yet I can't access the internet on the Solaris VM

Solaris 10 Guest Can't browse the internet on Window 7 Host

I have a solaris 10 guest (powered by Virtualbox 4.1.18.0) on a Window 7 host. I have an internet connection on the host (Window 7) via a USB CDMA modem. How can I share this same internet connection with the guest (Solaris 10)?
