Workaround found, right click on the .vbox file and select open in Oracle Virtual box add the VB guest into the Gui the same works for the extension package download it and right click and open and it will install
Hope this help anyone who was use to the previous version

Adding existing guests, GUI machine menu missing VB5
Hi All, How do you add an existing VB guest to and Ubuntu 14.04 host running VB5? The issue is trying to add my existing VB guests, all that I could find is the VbManage command, is this the answer for Ubuntu VB5? I have encountered the same issue upgrading to 4.1.18. In my case the issue was related to the adapter ipaddress being changed by the upgrade. I use a different subnet and dhcp address range due to conflicts with the standard 192.168.56.x range. The upgrade does not change the dhcp IP address inform...
