Display Lagg

Anyone come across display lag before? Firstly let me point out, I never used to get it on this hardware (details below). I've ran VB fine in this method for a couple of years now, and upgraded through versions. Then came a memory bug in 4.1.21 and I couldn't run guests with a combined RAM of more t...

Re: hostmemorylow - host memory low

That may be the case, but as we've been running McAfee for several years at work, and my issue wasn't there one day and was the next is iffy. Particularly in that I think I only downloaded the VBOX update as the issue started to occur. And my laptop with the same software mirroring my desktop doesn'...

Re: hostmemorylow - host memory low

Nothing. It litterally worked fine on a Wed/Thurs when I'd used 2 guests, of win7 x86 on 1gb ram and winxp x86 on 768mb ram, then the following Monday/Tuesday when I tried to start the xp vm I got host out of memory. The win7 host wasn't shut down, neither was the guest, only the guest xp vm. Chrome...

Re: hostmemorylow - host memory low

But can anyone ascertain why my PC, with 6GB RAM win7 x64 intel host ran fine for months, then suddenly decided to have this error? One week fine, next week not and no changes made, I don't even think Windows updates had installed.

Re: hostmemorylow - host memory low

I've since discovered I can use any combination of 1 or more guests as long as the total assigned memory is less than 1325mb.

1 guest on 1330mb crashes,
1 guest on 1320mb works
2 guests or more on 1330mb or more 2nd one to load crashes
2 guests or more on 1320mb or less and all work fine.
