Greeting Dear Community.
I like to buy a laptop for putting virtual box in it.
The goal is to practice and keep my programming skill fresh while I am traveling overseas.
Any suggestion on what configuration or brand to buy ?
My budget is $500 USD or under.

which mean my best option is to diff the file system of my bloated 27G VM and and earlier incarnation of the 13G VM ??
And perhaps get rid of whatever I have added between these two diff ??

Greeting dear community, My ova export disk used to be around 13G and I did an export to backup my VM recently and find out the size increase to 27G which is more than double. The issue is resolved!! When I use the ethernet adapter and change it to the wireless adapter it works. I suppose it is related to the MAC address as with the same setting for the working ethernet adapter, when the MAC address is changed, it stopped working too, But why ?? Is VBox smart enough to co...

Wifi has never worked for the guest..once undock from the working station. The host is fine but the guest is just stop seeing the internet.
When it is docked with the ethernet cable both host and guest work fines with the internet.

I disable all the other adapter and has only one adaper config as NAT/Intel Pro1000MT Desktop. Still no luck with wifi. The internet is working fine with the ethernet connection but once switch to wifi it stops working. There is a suggestion to try NAT but no luck so I just use all the possible combination for NAT if there is any luck. This is not a known issue correct. It is just something with my configuration ??
