Re: D-Bus Server on OpenSUSE
The upgrade to open Suse 12.2 installs v1.5.12-4.6.1 of dbus-1, dbus-1-x11 & libdbus-1-3. I rolled them back to 1.5.12-4.1.2 and that fixed it.

I have the same problem. I have 4.1.22 running on my Dell Optiplex GX620 desktop on openSuse 12.1 and it is working fine. I have just updated my Dell Inspiron 1521 laptop to openSuse 12.2, and upgraded VBox to 4.2.0 r80737. I was able to install the Extension Pack OK. I want to connect it to an exis...

Re: Guest performance terrible with IOapic, amazing without
I've just tried this and it works. My host is openSuse 12.1 running on a Dell Optiplex GX620. The processor is a Pentium D950 dual core 3.2Ghz with 4Gb DDR2. Apps on Suse are very fast. Previously I had tried running Windows XP Pro with the guest CPU set to 2 cores with IO APIC on. It started and ra...
