This behavior is 100% repeatable for me on Virtualbox 4.1.2 whenever the 4.1.2 guest additions are installed. I haven't tested other versions. I can confirm that I have this issue without any mouse drivers installed on my Windows 7 x64 host. I'm using the mouse support built into Windows with a Logitech MX518 USB mouse.

Sasquatch, All operations are done on the guest side. I am not trying to drag and drop between the host and the guest.
