May try the print server idea...hadn't thought of that. If it doesn't work, I'll figure something else out. THanks for your time.

Thanks for the help. I unplugged the printer, started the VM XP and waited until it completely loaded, plugged the USB cable back in. The VM did not recognize anything. Any other suggestions?

Connecting a printer not supported by OSX

I have a CD/DVD thermal printer I use for my business. It only has a Windows driver and software. I want to install it on my iMac running OS 10.5.8 (Leopard) and so I installed Virtual Box and XP. Installed the software fine but it will not detect the printer. I have enabled USB Controller and added...
