I have a similar problem
Medium type of '/home/XXXX/.VirtualBox/HardDisks/Karmic.vdi' is differencing but it is not associated with any parent medium in the media registry ('/home/XXXX/.VirtualBox/VirtualBox.xml').
any one can help me please??
