Re: 3D gaming with Virtualization

Re: 3D gaming with Virtualization
Alright guys, you were quick to respond when a simple answer was for me to read the manual. I read it and now I have a legit issue. Can someone help?

Re: Calling all Windows 7 x64 host users
I can't even assign more than one core because my guest will refuse to boot up. I'm just trying to boot a 32bit OS as well...I figure 32bit can support 2 cores correct?

Re: 3D gaming with Virtualization
Game: Atmosphir (beta.atmosphir.com/atmosphir) Runs on the Unity engine. Newest Version Basically, I cannot run the multiplayer because networking has Unity and my Windows 7 64bit fighting so I end up with a "getcontextthread failed" error so I am trying to emulate a 32bit OS so I can play.

3D gaming with Virtualization
Alright, I have already installed VM tools on my guest and enabled 3D and 2D virtualization. For some reason, my game will still not load. My graphics card for my host loads the game with great FPS. I have given my guest 1 of my 4 cores of my proccessor, and 2GB of RAM. It has also been given all my...

Re: Need to get graphics going...
I apologize for double posting. But I figured out I can boot the OS if I only allow 1 core to be used. This is not what I would like, but I cannot find a workaround right now. Because if I enable AMD with more than one core, it will not start. I tried running my game with the new graphics. This time...

http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/374/4753086192.jpg Alright, I read the manual and enabled the settings. Now I am getting this error and Windows XP won't boot. What did I accidentally enable that I shouldn't have? I set it to use 2 of my four cores of my proccessor, I gave it about 2GB of RAM (p...

Re: Need to get graphics going...
I installed it in Safe mode and it STILL isn't showing that 3D is supported. It is still saying my graphics memory is 16mb though my host is 256mb. It is an integrated card so it can eat more of my 6GB of RAM. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Need to get graphics going...
Umm...ok. I installed it, but it still doesn't give me 3D support. My game has a ton of pixel issues. And virtualbox still says that 3D is not supported. I mounted the ISO and ran the installer. When I rebooted the guest, it would not boot up properly, so I pushed reset and it booted properly with g...

Need to get graphics going...
Alright, the whole reason I installed Virtualbox is because my Computer is Windows 7 64bit and the game I'm trying to play (Atmosphir), runs on Unity which has issues with 64bit. So I am trying to get Windows XP to support 3D (have yet to be able to) because the driver for my graphics card is only s...
