Re: Problem with display
Strangely, today the mouse integration is gone. I need to click in the guest OS screen to capture any mouse movement. I checked in machine->disable mouse integration and it is greyed out. I am using Win XP with guest additions installed. They cause no problem at all. So I dont think it is the fault ...

with a few restarts to guest OS and Host OS, the auto resize is working. The problem with the color is still there. Do you still need those files?

Re: Problem with display
Yes. I am sure I installed it in Ubuntu using command lines I got from the internet, which involved mounting the addition iso on Ubuntu and command lines: cd /media/cdrom sudo ./VBoxLinuxAdditons-x86.run. I am using VB 3.1.4. Though I want to point out that mouse integration works perfectly. I could...

I am using Win 7 as a host to Ubuntu 9.10. Whenever I start my ubuntu it says that my color setting are not correct and that I need to select 32 bit colors. When I go to display setting for ubuntu I see no option to change the color setting. Also the full screen mode still shows me a window of the O...

Increase the hard disk size
I am running Win XP as a guest. During the initialization of the HDD for my guest I initialized only 8 GB, which is running low. Is there a way I can increase the size of the HD on the guest without re-installing it?

Re: Can not make fullscreen
Thanks a lot. You were right I was not in the auto re-size mode. Also thank you for your initial advise of going through all the menu options. I had a prejudice that I will not like VB and soon get rid of it. So why waste time looking around. During the exploration I found this cool feature of seaml...

Re: Can not make fullscreen
Ok I finally was able to install guest additions and I must say the automatic capture of mouse is a super cool function. Unfortunately I was still not able to achieve fullscreen. The window maximizes but the OS still remains of the same size.

Cant get dedicated HD space
I dedicated 15GB of HDD space for Win XP as a guest OS. I am using a Win 7 OS as host OS. After deleting XP, I discovered that my 15GB dedicated space is not back. How can I get this space back?
