Re: Mouse stutters in guest
No I didn't do anything special with the mouse or usb at all. Heck I'm using the OSE version which doesn't even have usb pass through.... All I did was install xp in a fresh vm with default settings, mouse was funky, installed drivers, mouse works. Maybe its just a fluke http://img243.imageshack.us/...

Re: Mouse stutters in guest
OK, no logitech driver + guest additions works perfectly. Without guest additions though it still needs the logitech driver for the mouse to function properly

Re: Mouse stutters in guest
Clean install, I have no idea why the logitech drivers fixed the mouse, but thats the only thing I changed and it worked no problem
I assume its now whats causing the right click issue, I'll try and remove it.

Now I've got a new problem though, I just installed the guestadditions and now the mouse is stuck infinitely right clicking. I swear I read something about this somewhere but I can't find it now. EDIT: just l...

Re: vm inaccessible
I had the vm running fine and had rebooted it several times. The first time I went to unmount the windows iso with VBoxManage closemedium dvd <file.iso> it gave me an error that the vm was still using it, even though i had shut it down. So I booted the vm back up and did "VBoxManage controlvm w...

Mouse stutters in guest
I just created a new vm with windows xp pro sp3 as guest on a gentoo linux 2.6.30.5 host. AMD X2 3800+ (S939 no AMD-V). vbox ose 3.0.8 Everything seems great except the mouse stutters really bad when moved and doesn't respond correctly. Its like using an old mouse with a really dirty track ball. Mou...
