Hi
I don't have access to that machine at the moment but I will get back to it sometime
in the future and will let you know how it goes.
Cheers

Re: No Driver Base system device and cannot see USB Key
Hi
Thank you for your advice, you are correct, the USB is plugged into
a USB3 input, I will use a USB2 input and I'm sure it will work.
BTW I cannot get to the PC until tomorrow at the earliest but will let you know how it went
as soon as I can.
Thanks again
Daniel

Re: Cannot connect USB devices
First, on the USB Details of your guest on the VirtualBox interface, enable USB, USB 2.0 then add a new filter -- the USB icon with the blue dot. You'll have something like "1 New Filter" appear with a checked box. This will allow all usb devices to pass through to the guest. Then start y...

it turns out it was the other way round, I had to turn IO APIC on and it worked, but I appreciate your input, it showed
me where to look and what to try.
Thank you,

HiPerryg wrote:You can install VBox on 64 bit OS and then install a 32 bit Windows OS that will work the printer and maybe the scanner, no promise on the scanner.
I got the scanner working fine.
This is the best bit of software I have ever used, well compiled and intuitive.
