Re: VirtualBox crashing on virtual clients start
Ok, I have NO IDEA what you're talking about :!: :?: :!: . Where do you get off making claims that I'm being "nasty" towards VB, or anything else, for that matter? In my post I simply state that I was having the same issue as the original poster. There is not a single instance where I'm b...

Re: VirtualBox crashing on virtual clients start
Wow lost following that thread for a while. So really no need to be nasty with this. VB is awesome, worth thousands of dollars in my book but hey FREE ! You can`t yell at the devs, just only help them to improve their fabulous software. I`m a gamer too so NO downgrading driver for sure only for VB. ...

Re: VirtualBox crashing on virtual clients start
Hi wow that was quick support, thank you ! While I certainly don't want to downgraded my Win7 display driver for VB, disabling 3d acceleration fix the problem with the latest guest addons. Seems then that the new Nvidia driver (260.89) is causing problem with VirtualBox. I can certainly work without...

VirtualBox crashing on virtual clients start
Haven't been using VB for a little while but now everytime I want to start a VM (XP or Vista), VB crashes. Those VM machines were working fine before. The error is related with the file "nvoglv32.dll". I have try to uninstall and re-install VB but with the same effect. The strange thing is...

Re: Discuss VirtualBox 3.0 Release
Migrate from 2.2.1 OSE to 3.0 following the Linux notes from the site with no issues (Mint 7 host with Win XP 32 guest). It even recognized my previous vm machines. I installed it from the package manager of Mint after the short cmds indicated. Neat. Then install version 3 add-ons. Everything works ...

Re: Migrating from VB 2.2.1 OSE to 3.0
Ok finally for those interested to try it out, it's much easier/safer then I though. 1- Uninstall both Virtual box packages using the Mint/Ubuntu package manager. This will not delete the ".virtualbox" folder in your home directory, nor your virtual boxes (Windows Xp for me). 2- Use the in...

Migrating from VB 2.2.1 OSE to 3.0
Linux Mint 7 any advise on how to migrate to the new VB3 ? I am running 2.2.1 OSE right now with 2 Windows guests. Since there is no 3 OSE upgrade available yet, is it better to first uninstall the OSE version and use the .deb 3 version from here ? If I uninstalled the OSE version, will that take ou...
