I just did everything you said and absolutely nothing happened.

I kept getting the 53 error in dos that no such place exists.

Thanks for the reply. I installed the Guest Additions for my version and still absolutely no luck.

I installed XP Pro, then installed Guest Additions

Now I can't do the x: //vbox..../foldername thing

And I don't see it anywhere under Network Places.

Anyone else had this problem?

I'm confused. I added a shared folder and it didn't list it anywhere. I have the latest version.

I checked under Network Places.

What is Guest Additions?
