Hyper-V in use because WSL-2.
Ubuntu 160406 can be installed, but the OS either hangs ("suspended") or the Guru meditates on a triple fault (VINF_EM_TRIPLE_FAULT). Meditation is rarer than just a hang.
Tried a bunch of options - with or without PAE, changed paravirt, changed NIC type, chipset, yada yada, none of that makes a difference. Went back to defaults.
1 vCPU, 2GiB to 8GiB of assigned RAM tested.
Ubuntu 180404 cannot be installed, in this case the install ISO hangs ("suspended"), and I didn't try it often enough to see whether I could get the guru to meditate on it.
Ticket 19456 is open.
I am mainly curious how others on Win10 2004 are faring. With or without Hyper-V active, that is, with or without WSL-2. Though, Win10 without WSL-2, that's just tragic
