my philips SPC1300NC webcam is installed properly. it is detected by guest windows xp in opensuse linux. but the problem is when i try to use the webcam, the light turns on but it there will be only black screen as the output. How can i solve it?

I am using virtual box with usb support in opensuse11 and windows xp as guest os.
