Re: Apple Bluetooth
Well, if the BootCamp driver installed the device, then it should work. If the drivers didn't cause the device to be installed properly in Device Manager, then you'll have to look for other drivers, as it's apparently not the same BT device.

I have used, what has been described here, but it didn't work. I have got the following failure

VirtualBox >5.x is culprit -- VB <4.x works -- Re: Apple Bluetooth
It is a VB Problem!! I had problem with el Capitan and Maverics. Downgrading VB to 4.x solves problem for internal Mac-OSX systems.Galeocerdo wrote:i've got the same errors returned under os x mavericks. any help please?!
I have the problem with the onboard Blutooth on a MacBookPro 2011, only when using VirtualBox > 5.x versions. I have go back to the 4.x VirtualBox versions to work on all the Virtal systems.
I can use Bluetooth on newer VB versions intermittently, only with an additional BlueTooth-USB TX/RX (Send/Receive) stick (some call it a dongle). I use the "SPEEDLINK VIAS Nano USB Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter" (ASIN-B00K2QW2KI); cost around $15-18.
Update: 20161122_11:24 --
Using VB 4.x is usable to divert the issues with BT and USB not available. Now, when installing openSUSE Tumbleweed, there are issues with the X-Server not working on older VB versions, because some patches are needed on the most stable up to date version 5.x. These new patches are not available for the older VB versions. VB is becoming unusable with up to date clients on up to date OSX.
Anyone tried VB on OSX 10.12.1 macOS (Sierra) yet?
