I am new to Linux and VB so any help will be appreciated.
If user 1 logs onto the RHEL 8 computer and runs the Windows VM from VB 7 and then user 1 locks the computer and steps out and user 2 logs into the same RHEL 8 computer and attempts to start the Windows VM from VB is there a way to prevent the Windows VM from running?
We are having this issue where a different user tries to start the Windows VM and it corrupts the VM because someone else has it running already. We end up having to restore the VM.

Re: Multiple users
VirtualBox works very well in a multi-user environment, as long as you don't violate the basic assumption: a VM is a per-user resource. Do not set up VMs for several users pointing to the same hard disk image (DVD images can be shared of course, they're read-only).
