Vbox 2.2 breaks with compiz

I can't run compiz while running VirtualBox 2.2.

Try turning off the 3d effect in the vbox settings for the windows guest. It can't use it right now anyway.

What about decreasing it. If your video card has only 128 MB VRAM, it will give everything to VB and the Guest will fail to allocate the allotted memory because the Host also needs it. I usually use 8 or 12 MB of VRAM, works like a charm. You can set it to 32 if it makes you feel better.
