Hi,

Trying to share a folder between my
Ubuntu 10.04 HOST
and
Mac OS X 10.6 GUEST

What do I do inside of OS X guest to set up the share folder?

Thanks!

Since there are no guest additions for MAC you would need to setup a standard network share.

Hi,

Anyone wondering how to share a folder between
Ubuntu 10.04 Linux Host
and
Mac OS X Server Guest,
here is how I did it:
1. Create a folder in Linux and allow sharing with guest permissions.
2. Goto OS X guest and chose: Go/Connect To Server.
3. In "Server Address", type smb://x.x.x.x" where x = IP Address of host.
4. Select shared folder and open it.
5. Done!

Enjoy!
