Can't run multiple Instances on OSX Leapord

Hi Friends,
I am on Mac OSX Leapord 2.53GHz Intel Core Duo, 4GB RAM. I have installed VBOX 3 weeks ago back then it was owned by Sun but since iam getting this msg everytime when i launch Virtual Box i.e. new Vbox Version is available so i went ahead and downloaded and installed the new version, which i have noticed its now been owned by Oracle! anyway to cut the chase. My problem is i am unable to run multiple machines i get the error msg as follows:
"Failed to open a session for the virtual machine
PIIX3 cannot attach drive to secondary Master
(VERR_SHARING_VOILATION).
Unknown error creating VM (VERR_SHARING_VOILATION)"
so i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling my all virtual machines, my virtual machines are winXPsp2, Win Server 2008, another copy of Win Server 2008.
so eventually i had to delete all the Virtual hard disks and now i also have reinstalled the VBOX aswell and i have installed win XP, and Winserver 2008. I still am unable to run multiple VM's Please NOTE: i can run only any one virtual machine but when i start the 2nd one that's when i get the above error msg.
Can anyone please help me? That would be much much apreciated,

Please pick two VMs which will not run at the same time. Hunt down their respective VM settings xml files and post those files as attachments here.

can reproduce this behavior:

both vm's were connected to the same dvd drive i.e. I produced a SHARING_VIOLATION
disconnecting the drive solved the problem
